  • Managing Potential Customer Relations: Informing you about our products and services that we may offer in the future, conducting commercial communication (based on your explicit consent, KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6/1-a).

  • Ensuring and Improving the Operation of the Website: Ensuring the technically smooth operation of the website, improving user experience (KVKK Art. 5/2-f; GDPR Art. 6/1-f).

  • Fulfilling Legal Obligations: Fulfilling our obligations arising from legal regulations such as providing information, storing documents, and making notifications to relevant authorities (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç: Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the data controller is subject; GDPR Art. 6/1-c: legal obligation).

  • Conducting Recruitment Processes: Evaluating your job applications, contacting you for suitable positions, managing interview processes (KVKK Art. 5/2-f; GDPR Art. 6/1-f).

  • Managing Candidate Evaluation Processes: Evaluating your qualifications and suitability using the information in your CV and application form (KVKK Art. 5/2-f; GDPR Art. 6/1-f).

  • Creating a Candidate Pool for Future Potential Positions: Storing your information for future suitable positions if your application is unsuccessful, provided that you give your explicit consent (based on your explicit consent, KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6/1-a).

  • Fulfilling Legal Obligations: Fulfilling our obligations arising from labor law and other relevant legislation (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç; GDPR Art. 6/1-c).

3. Transfer of Personal Data:

Your personal data belonging to prospective customers and prospective employees may be transferred to the following recipient groups in accordance with the above-mentioned processing purposes and relevant legal bases:

  • Relevant Departments within KG Teknoloji: Employees of relevant departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources may access the data to ensure communication with prospective customers and employees and to carry out the processes.

  • Service Providers: Third-party companies from whom we receive services such as website hosting, maintenance, support services, and e-mail service providers may access the data to the extent necessary to provide their services. Data processing agreements are concluded with these companies to ensure the security of your data.

  • Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations in Case of Legal Obligation: Data transfer may be made to relevant public institutions and organizations within the framework of our obligation to provide information when required by legal regulations.

  • Canonical (Within the Scope of Ubuntu Representation): Limited information may be shared with Canonical in line with your requests and interest regarding Ubuntu products. This sharing is carried out within the framework of the business partnership and as required by the service.

Your personal data may be transferred abroad in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and the relevant provisions of the GDPR, by taking the necessary security measures. Data transfer abroad is carried out with the explicit consent of the data subject or within the framework of other conditions specified in the Law.

4. Retention Periods of Personal Data:

Your personal data is retained for the period necessary for the processing purposes. These periods are determined by taking into account the nature of the work, legal regulations, and the legitimate interests of KG Teknoloji.

  • Prospective Customer Contact Data: After the conclusion of your communication request, if you do not give your explicit consent for commercial communication, it is stored for a reasonable period (usually 1 year) and then deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. If you give your explicit consent for commercial communication, it is stored until you withdraw your consent.

  • Prospective Employee Application Data: If your job application is unsuccessful and you do not give your explicit consent, it is generally stored for 6 months to 1 year and then deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. If you give your explicit consent, it may be stored in the candidate pool for future positions until you withdraw your consent. Legal retention periods are reserved.

5. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11 and GDPR Art. 15-22):

In accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK and Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights as a data subject:

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed,  

  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,

  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,  

  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,  

  • To request the rectification of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,  

  • To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,

  • To request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (e) and (f) to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,  

  • To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,  

  • To claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.  

6. How You Can Exercise Your Rights:

To exercise your above-mentioned rights, you can apply to KG Teknoloji in writing with documents verifying your identity, or by using your Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the electronic mail address previously notified to KG Teknoloji and registered in our system. You can send your applications to our address mentioned above or to the e-mail address info@kgteknoloji.com 

KG Teknoloji will finalize your requests free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature. However, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.  

7. Data Security:

KG Teknoloji takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of your personal data. These measures aim to provide an appropriate level of security to prevent unauthorized access, data loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

8. Changes That May Be Made to the Privacy Notice:

At KG Teknoloji, we act in full compliance with the applicable data protection laws, including the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. This policy outlines the processes related to the retention, protection, and disposal of personal data collected through our website.
